I THINK THIS WILL BE AMAZING! HELP NEEDED!

Postby divtech » Wed Apr 15, 2009 4:25 am

so i want to make an ihatebreakcore song made entirely out of as many loops as i can, the catch is, each one of the loops i want to be made by a different member on the site

like maybe about a 16sec, 16 measure loop of whatever you want in like 240bpm

i will just sequence them all together with ableton unless someone else wanted to

i think this would be really awesome if it worked

if anyone wants to help me with this speak now!

:D :D :D

that is quite a good idea!:o
maybe set a key it's -kind of- supposed to be in, and maybe an amount of beats/bars it's supposed to be.. maybe everyone should submit a zip file containing the breaks apart from the melody apart from the bass, etc

just some suggestions

Yeah give us an example you panda cock, and then maybe we can redistribute the samples for a few remixes, then stick the EP online for free download, or sell the rights to Eat your heart out records so that Alec Empire can have a wank and make even more money.

i resent that, i abandoned my panda cocking long ago :D

in regard to a sample of what it might sound like i just put together a loop in 240bpm at 16 measures

you can find it here

http://ia311221.us.archive.org/1/items/ ... re/dum.wav

as for what format, .wav would probably be best

as for the key i guess it doesnt really matter much but i guess if youre good with notes, something in c would probably work

just upload the samples to archive.org then put the links here

Most of them were samples from his sample cd he put out last year and he pretty much tweeked em in real time and just mixed and matched while reaking havok with his midi controllers. That reminds me, I need to pick up that sample series cd of his.

(edit) Oh and thats not all the samples, the session view scrolled down and to the right.

You talking on that small flatscreen below the projection screen? He was using/still uses last time I seen him out, these two german made midi controller boxes that look kinda like roland drum machine's 303...I can't remember the name of em at the moment.

I've been making loops out of some of my upcoming tracks/beats lately and sending em out to friends for samples. I've even made ringtones out of em too, cause I got fed up with all of my ringtones.
