Feel the bleeding edge of an intense collision of culture, technology and music, in a multifaceted polymorphic array of rhythmic re-evolution. Barcore initiates its new base of operations with an explosive line up that will be delivering uninhibited dance floor devastation all night long. Heavily weighted walls of subsonic pulses entangled with restructured broken bits of familiar industrialized technoid rhythms raging through towers of sound that generate nanocycles of biosystematic mayhem. Come witness what will surely become an unforgettable immersion into some of the most ferocious freeform hypersonic audio manifestations New York CIty has ever seen and heard!

FEATURING AN EXCLUSIVE APPEARANCE FROM:
Image
***1ST EVER NYC APPEARANCE & 1ST U.S. APPEARANCE IN ALMOST 10 YEARS***
[Melbourne, Australia]
Bloody Fist Records | Industrial Strength | Strike Records | Bastard Loud

Straight out of Melbourne, Barcore is very honored and proud to bring you, the main culprit behind one of Australia's most notorious underground labels, Bloody Fist Records...MARK N!!! That's right, MARK N is gearing up for a U.S. tour and is going to be setting it off at Barcore in New York City to show everyone what 100% straight up hardcore and DMC style turntablism is all about! A true pioneer of the industrial/hardcore/speedcore/dnb/breakcore scene, Mark N has been in the game a long time, played at some of the biggest hardcore events all over the world and is coming to New York City for his first time ever, on a mission of complete audio devastation!

Mark N's history goes into the early '90's when he, along with friends Aaron Lubinski [Xylocaine] and David Melo [Disassembler], started writing their own original industrial hardcore techno on 8-bit Commodore and Amiga 600 computers, under [what was to become] the now legendary guise, Nasenbluten. Taking a severe bad-attitude, cynical nihilism and total misanthropy to a whole new level, the boys from down under had birthed the staple sound of what would become one of the most notorious and influential underground labels. While originally conceived as a way to creatively "fight back" against a self absorbed and increasingly abhorrent "mainstream music scene", not to mention society in general, Mark and crew didn't realize it, but they were redefining what could be accomplished by "techno". Not only were they getting heads turning their way, but they were receiving [at times] hostile public outcrys about what the Fist crew was putting out on the air and on speakers world wide. It was soon after their initial foray into music programming that Bloody Fist Records was born in August '94. It was Bloody Fist that gave Mark and crew a way to be heard through out the world and also gave other burgeoning underground Australian producers a chance to be heard as well. Artists like Epsilon, Paul Blackout, De-Koder, Syndicate, Aftermath [who's music was featured in a commerical for Rockstar's Manhunt video game], Overcast [Mark's low-fi breakbeat/drum n bass oriented project], plus a long list of of others, who began putting out what could arguably be, some of the best underground industrial hardcore, sinister drum n bass and eerie dark hip hop. Releases which were considered way ahead of their time and when heard, immediately spoke to any listener. These records have now become highly sought after collector vinyl from music fans, beat junkies and DJ's world wide...

An innovator behind a set of decks, Mark N started scratching and blending hip hop, low-fi breaks, drum n bass, hardcore techno, speedcore, showtunes, breakcore, noise and just about anything else that gets speakers slamming, while the rest of the world was still hanging on to the last days of disco and on the fringe of a glam epidemic. Winner of the Australian NSW DMC champs, 3rd subsequent National titles, Mark N is a turntablist warrior behind the wheels of steel and is bringing a bag full of some of the best underground hardcore sounds around to ensure maximum sound system wreckage! New York City, come out to show Mark how we get down and do not miss out on this chance to see a legendary appearance from one of the most prolific underground music artists...

Barrelhouse boogies for the post-nuclear age, is the name of the game here folks. Where innocent bystanders get smacked by wild abrasive broken beat structures lashing out metallic synergized rhythms and micropulse pounding bass lines. Enter, Rokhausen, one of New Jersey's best kept secrets, whose creative pursuits include brain-splattering breakcore, electroacoustic environments, and plunderphonic bricolage. His live performances fuse all of these elements together into a fleet of enemy starships charging at beyond light-velocity through a dimensional wormhole that dumps them out into our collective reality just when we've melted down the last of our weapons to build swing sets for the children. Producing some of the most intricately lethal electronic rhythms, Rokhausens work is without question a high impact exhibition of wrecked hyper glitch step fetishism that will most likely tear apart the space time continuum.

Barcore

Barcore's omnidigital destroyer is back and ready to wage an auditory battle that could be the soundtrack to World War 18. Digit216 is loading up the heavy audio artillery and enough ear shattering digigrind bombardment that will have people feeling like they're right in the middle of a rhythmic fire fight of soul shattering speeds. Cataclysmic fits of metal tinged digital hardcore, maniacal broken beat ballistics fused with cynically propagandist noisescapes and blatantly unapologetic dark humored atmospheres of body numbing drone. Digit216's music is quite a sonic hammering that will get most people bouncing off the walls as fast as the machine gun double bass lines repeatedly chisel away mental and physical limits. Listen to the neo-thrash smashfest as Digit216 takes New York City by the throat and won't be letting up till the speakers are fully flexed with audio intensity.
