Sublight VA comps...

I have been looking for a digital version of the Eyelicker and Imaginarey Friends comps. I used to own them, but lost the data and now their stuff isn't available anywhere. I would buy used copies off amazon, but that seems worse for some reason due to the fact that my money would more than likely not get to the artist (if I'm wrong, than someone please correct me).

I was thinking, if anyone would be able to share copies with me, I can provide a server to upload them. Private message me if so.

Or flame out and set me straight if you think what I am asking is "wrong".

I had a look around and there are a few online shops that say they are still selling but I doubt they really have any in stock. You are right, buying off Amazon marketplace won't get any money to the artists and it's only real benefit over filesharing is that you will own the hard copy. Ad Noiseam are listing one of the comps on Discogs, that might be an original shop copy. You could try e-mailing Sublight and asking how best to get hold of it, though I don't know who you would ask as their website is no longer up and running. Other than all these legal alternatives, downloading it is the only option which, in this case, I can't see anything wrong with.
