apparently he did do some study and thought himself some rudimentary violin before recordin rcas (or born under a bad star... which is easier to say)... but yeah i does sound a bit cheap in places... i dunno. i reckon RCAS has better songs but my downfall has better music... if that makes sense. detrimentalist was a glorious return to form... nice to see him not loose it completely in the pretentiousness stakes... cause he has gone too far on more than one occasion... i agree with travis though... miss balaton is fuckin beautiful. i often wondered what it was doin on that album. seemed to me like ccuk woulda made more sense there.
