Minimalist breakcore.. ?
Is this possible? People often refer to minimalist techno, and it tends to be popular for music noobs since you get a chance to really master every individual aspect of your sound..
So what would minimalist breakcore be like? Maybe one break and a handful of effects plugins? Maybe even just dblue glitch and the amen, but after enough experimenting and practicing it stops sounding generic and actually turns out sounding like something..
What does everyone thing? Is it possible? Does it already exist?

I was just using the amen and dblue as examples, since they are well known.. I'm not seriously thinking of releasing anything with the amen.. dblue maybe, if I can hide it. But both are totally played out as everyone knows. It would only serve as a reference point to which one could compare. It'd probably take me another 2 or 3 years, until my skills improve before a track with my name on it shows up on this forum. However, it's fairly difficult to tell if you're advancing if you're doing something completely different than everyone else.
In referenc to Somatics style, that is one I've been trying to aim at for a while with a small amount of success.. The kicks I can get a handle around, for the most part. The wierd melodic synth parts are not too hard but somewhat elusive. But the band-passed noises and snare-like crunches are pretty tricky. There's some definite layering and molding that I haven't practiced enough to completely understand. I should probably sit down for an entire afternoon just creating them from scratch.
Maybe I'll stick with that, who knows. I just brought up this post since I'd like to try something new and was fishing for suggestions.
