How do you categorise your music? I was introduced to 'breakcore' a year or so ago by a friend listening to Venetian Snares, and it just blew me away wih its 'freedom'.

I've come from a more traditional background in dance music (for the last 15 years or so), so since hearing Snares and how 'free' from convention it seemed, I have been going apeshit creating music that I would have described as 'breakcore' (from my limited experience) but now I realise there is more to it than that...

I'd like to upload some of the tracks I've written in the last year (I like em, and would like to know if anyone else does!) and would love to get more into the scene (listening to a load more new music and expanding my horizons, and even seeing it live and maybe getting back into performing if there is an audience for what I've written) - but I just don't know what the fuck it is that I've created. I literally went into it headfirst and just experimented without rules, creating what I liked the sound of.

So, can anyone explain the basic genres to me?

Also this....there are no basic rules for Breakcore, if there wil be rulles for breakcore, (like always use the amen) Breakcore wil dy.
The only guidlines is make Coatic (but stil wit a structure (unles jou want to make flascore)), Hard, Fast tracks + dont give a fuck about anithing.
