If anyones interested, Venetian snares interview in this months issue of Computer Music (uk) . Had a scan in the newsagents today, in the interview he talks about his love for trackers n stuff. Should be available online somewere i guess.??

it will probally be a load of bollocks. their interviews often are. frankly, CM mag are 5 years too late in bringing us this.

i remember last time i read them when they mentioned breakcore, they printed floorclearer as 'floorcleaner'. which is just embarrasing.

CM cost £5/6 which sucks if you use a mac cos they never give mac software away anymore.

I've got this magazine, it's actually a really good interview. loads of good info, lists his kit and shit too.

i've already scanned it in for the dude on the vsnares msg board, so you can either go there or wait until i can be bothered to post it here

and right now i am tripping OFF of my FUCKING tits

In the 'notes on breakcore' doc venetian snares seems reluctant to give too much away. Maybe he was being asked patronoising questions by the film makers? who knows?. He seemed a bit pissed off in the doc, like he was pissed that a few filmmakers can come along a pigeon hole his music as 'breakcore', (thats probably why he made a point to say he's been making music without beats). Thing is iv'e never met the guy so will reserve judgment on whether or not he's an arrogant cunt. He's probably a decent bloke really!?
