haha lombardo is a fuckin drummer but he's ain't the best... btw that's not the current conversation, I listenned to the album that afternoon and I like it, not your best stuff in it, but some really good track and ideas!

snafu im pretty sure people don't take your amen questions seriously because they just think you a hater
but seriously though, we all know why the amen break is used, weve heard justification over and over. i dont think we will get any new revelations or excuses from a great artist like ladyscraper that haven't been discussed ad nauseum.
just for fun though, i would like to give my opinion and say that when i listen to breakcore tracks, when i hear an amen it bores me, and when i heard the amen used in this album where it seemed less edited (the actual sound of the break) and more prevalent than in other ladyscraper tracks there was a moment of concession where i had to try to justify its use because i liked the track
to amend my credability i will throw an amen snare in every so often when i feel like putting in another sound but i dont want to have to go through the trouble of making another break sound snappier and as crisp as my dusted off amen sample does
everyone writes music for different reasons, this album is a great bit of fun, and it is highly commendable for that at the very least
great work on the album man, i love it, im pretty sure your amen use is not out of laziness
