I should be moving to Leed's in a few weeks and as I know absolutely no one there it'd be safe to get to know some producers or like minded people.

Hoiiii.... I live there, please inject some crazier breaks in to the dnb scene or go see the sound system crews like high pressure, symbiosis and central beats... The jungle scene is good, the dnb scene is shit (welll, central beats do a free night on at leeds uni and they're all quite good actually: super-tech dnb!)
There are some random heads about like ant orange, p45, boca, a few others.. you'll get to know people if you go out, not like a close circle but there's a scene-ish. It might take a while to filter though all the mersh events but there are some quite good ones. Macheen Boi used to run a sick night called substance, he runs a label called sustain records and was selling his back catalogue 4 £25 :O

my friends and i produce dubstep, I've tried to convert them but the best i can get is a compromise to make breaky 'step...

best record shop 4 edm is tribe next to corn xchange (dnb, dubstep, dub on one floor; house trance etc is on another)
