New EP releases @ Meganeural Records - Anorak and Rot13

OK so it's release time again here at Meganeural Records and this month we have two brilliant (and very different) digital releases:

First up is from our boy in Bristol - Anorak:

‘Mutations’ is a varied 4 track EP of Dubstep and Breakcore with a sinister edge and a highly polished sound that has a real impact. Here what our friend Nicolas at Ad Noiseam had to say about it:

“Nice and varied little 4 tracker digital EP by Bristol's Anorak. The whole thing is strongly footed in complex, fast and fun breakcore, reminding of what Chevron is doing, or of a harder version of The Gasman (i.e. what Planet Mu was about a few years ago). Add to this a pretty raw and hard Dubstep tune, a much more relaxed Downtempo one, quite a heavy dose of acid, and you get a party-friendly, broken, fast and promising release from this young act.”

Secondly is the debut release from the UK’s Rot13

‘Volume 1’ is a deep soulful release that intertwines lush analogue sounds with acid and IDM rhythm influences presented with outstanding production values. This release marks a move into new territory for Meganeural and promises much more than meets the eyes and ears.
