Until wobbles are as widely regarded as being the cheesiest rave synth, like on the same level as hoovers. Because that is totally what is going to happen.

Well in 15 years when synths have progressed again and we've got some richer sounds (difficult for my small brain to conceptualise at the moment) then hopefully the wim wom wobble will be regarded in the same light as the cheesy hoover pads and corny horror gabber stabs, albeit with added gayness.

i think its subjective to how its used i still hear hoover in tunes nowadays and really like it cos they have done something original with it, its the same as 80's synth pop making a comeback now was used to death but if some1 uses it in an original and unique way then fair play to them

Well from what I can see cultural paradigm shifts are happening faster and faster, and the hoover only took 15 years to go from THE rave synth to played out to ironic to music history.

could someone explain a hoover to me?

even worse though, would be if wobbles became the STANDARD and anything without one considered strange
