Completely depends upon who you're talking to. For the most part, Gabber is a type of hardcore. I tend to describe any kinda hardcore that uses a squared kick as Gabber, whilst the other type (that tend to use tight kicks with hat fills) as hardcore or more than often, happy hardcore. Some people will argue that true Gabber is way faster and heavier and that Bonkers Gabber isn't "true" Gabber at all, although they'd be talking out of their rectal cavities unless they can find me the sacred scripts of the Hakken.

I just put a Gabber track in the user track section. Fate Concept a version of the great Tresnq of Bulgaria portrayed in my own light. Poetry taken from Andy T from a Crass Records comperlation. Gabber is great.
gabber is aight and i'm stressing aaaaiiiiight...
i used to like it a lot more when there wasn't really any sort of "hardcore/speedcore/etc."...
i remember getting a compilation "Hardcorps" on moonshine records years ago and that was pretty much the only "gabber" that i really liked, besides some other id&t, stunned guys & neophyte stuff i had...
i'm actually going to be getting rid of all my old gabber records soon, so if anyone is interested, keep your eyes peeled, as i'm pretty much going to be giving most of the shit away [not literally "giving away", but selling it really cheap], cause i just need to get it out of here and i'm sure there are people out there that would give it a lot more use than i am...
i'm just sick n tired of people over in the U.S. thinking that "hardstyle/nustyle/gabber" is the "hardest" thing out there. they'll go see rob gee play over and over again [even pay almost $20 at the door and they'll get over 200 people most of the time too], but we bring people like Duranx3 or Xanop, etc. [for free or for $5] and those same people will not show up and stay glued to the same whack ass crap...
ok, i'm done venting...
