Rahter than going oh its the tin foil hat brigade and dismissing these theorys, while at the same time beleiving everything the news tells you, which is pretty naive and stupid, why dont folks look into these things themselves and come to their own conclusions.

I mean have any of you heard of wtc7? It just happened to just collapse that day too and wasnt even mentioned in the official enquiry, they done it all right but people dont seem to mind! :roll:

Middle eastern terror networks are almost certainly not a media invention. There is a rich and detailed history of their foundations, their funding and their activities. Each localised movement has it's own geo-political goals, and often the links between these different groups are over-exaggerated by the media, but to say that they are all purely a media invention is truly naive. Instead of watching zeitgeist and other ameteur rectal youtube videos, or watching a documentary online, read some books on the subject so you can actually check the factual accuracy of the sources.

Al Qaeda by Jason Burke is essential reading (the words of Chomsky not be, although I tend to agree). The soviet resistance in Afghanistan was real, their funding from the US was real, the factions that went on to form the Afghan government (Taliban) were real, their resistance training camps were real, their rich donors from the gulf states were real. Hamass, Hezbollah, Islamic Brotherhood, Fatah........they all exist and are often clumsily logged under the umbrella term of Al Qaeda, but they exist nonetheless, and have been known to endorse terror attacks on civillian targets. Can't be bothered to thoroughly dissect the history of the middle east on an internet forum, but in layman's terms the entire continent was forged through colonialism, resistance/uprising and extreme religious rhetoric. Read the book I mentioned above, read some Chomsky, some Nick Cohen (who is a tosser granted). There is a wealth of left wing literature out there from writers who come from extreme political backgrounds, and even the vast majority of them refuse to accept the popular conspiracy theory in its present clumsy form.
