here's part 2 of my horsey tale
so after writing rock off your nuts, we decided we were on to something, so a couple friends and I started a band. radiator was long gone by then and I realized that saxophone doesnt get you laid (unless youre, like, really really good at it.) my music buddies and i were getting into some weird musical shit. i started listening to ornette coleman and getting some weird ideas as to what music could become. we had this band for a while (one show?) called "Death Bistro" where my friend played a drumset with only a kick, snare and a ton (im talking like 20) cymbals. I still played my sax, but also did vocals, and had a mic attached to this crazy signal chain that contained a whammy pedal, wah pedal, delay and distortion. charlie played guitar, but he started developing this real crazy slide guitar style where he would use a drumstick or pretty much anything else long and hard to make sheer madness.
heres our logo
we had one show, and i had to sell back my whammy pedal (even though i was in love with it) so we broke up as a band.
ANYWAY.. so we had this song rock off your nuts and we needed a few more so we could play a show. this was sophomore year of high school (...i think??) we started writing songs about aliens and robots destroying things.
heres a song called "alien space invasion"
They’ll rip off your balls and throw them into your face
Aliens will come and kill the whole human race
People will be dying at a really fast pace
Corpses will by flying all over outer space
They’ll take out your brain and put it into a jar
Tanks will not destroy them when the blow up your car
Sucked out all your brains so you don’t know who you are
Ordinary weapons will not go very far
It’s an alien invasion
It’s an alien invasion
It’s an alien invasion
To destroy Earth
To destroy Earth
They will come and shoot off all your limbs with a gun
They will cheer and smile because they think it is fun
Blowing up our property until they are done
Finding satisfaction cause they know you can’t run
Run away just run away as fast as you can
Laser beams they’re shooting will not give you a tan
Worldwide media receives a government ban
No more articles of Martians eating a man
It’s an alien invasion
It’s an alien invasion
It’s an alien invasion
To destroy Earth
To destroy Earth
(repeat)
so we started working on a few songs in this vein. the whole idea was a "wall of sound" (old idea) so we doubled every instrument, two guitars, two bassists, and two drummers. we would have the two drummers (me and kyle) facing each other and we set up the stage all symmetrical-like

my listening life is very lush and elaborate like im sure most of yours are as well (since you ultimately found breakcore)
but i go through phases
when i was in middle school, i really liked Rage Against The Machine and Phish. it was pretty rebellious at the time to like both of those bands. They are still two of my favorite bands, even though i dont listen to them much anymore...
Like most of you, I found venetian snares as well. He was/is awesome. I met him once. I was pretty blacked out, but I vaguely remember him being mad at me for drinking his Becks. I snuck backstage w/ otto von shirach's crew and was partying with them during most of vsnares's set.
Unlike most of you, I have also met the elusive John Merrik. We went to a show together in NYC 2 years ago.
i could literally talk all day about music that influences me, but Id rather you just had a look for yourself and judge me. here is a link to my last.fm page http://www.last.fm/user/bpintar
ive been listening to myself a bit today cause im working on a new EP and a new album and i need to remember how i sound...
ive been a real fan of animal collective ever since they released Merriweather Post pavilion. i really like trippy music a lot. i kinda burned out on them recently though (even though their new movie, Oddsac is super cool...)
lately ive been more into dubstep (duh) and surprisingly, ambient music??? check out oneohtrix point never, emeralds, and tim hecker
theres also this justin beiber slowed down song that is my favorite thing ever.
oh and since im a DJ, i keep in touch with pop music. im pretty sure none of you fuckheads want to talk about taio cruz though...
is that enough? i can say more and do more specific shit if any of you guys are interested...

ROCK OFF YOUR NUTS
My brain exploded, go and get me a mop
I am a farmer corn slash wheat is my crop
I kill your pets and then I rip out their eyes
I squeeze their lungs and then they let out weak sighs
The blood is running yeah and so are the guts
The music’s loud so we can rock off your nuts
Rock off your nuts (x4)
The car is burning cause I threw a grenade
I killed your family in a random house raid
Rip off your fingernails and go take a dump
Your life is worthless so you might as well jump
Cut your aorta so you bleed and you die
Just kicked your puppy bitch are you gonna cry?
The praying mantis comes and eats you alive
Pissed off the bees now they’re out of the hive
Euphoric mess made up of organs and bile
I’d rape a monkey but that isn’t my style
The soldiers marching all have rocks in their butts
They’re marching just so they can rock off your nuts
if you really want to hear it, ill post a recording.
Jep...we want a recording.

Milwaukee is cool. come visit. im not gonna stay here forever, but its a good pond to chill in atm
We should all meat up sometime. Ty (stagediver) and I were born/raised in the 414. Crisp is a little too upscale for myself, personally, but I do frequent Redroom. I had no idea you were doing Wednesdays.
I'll see you there brother.
