Hi, I've been getting into breakcore and electronic music for about a year now. I currently produce/record hip hop, heavy metal, noise, and all of this silly breakcore which is probably the most fun to make out of all of them.
You can check out some breakcore stuff I did, along with other things...

O HAI I'm Split Disk
Been a lover of breaks for years, but not until recently did I realize how much they dominated what I wanted to hear. I used to listen to and play technical death metal until I heard Venetian Snares, and than everything else progressed from there. Instead of destroying my joints and tendons trying to play 200bpm+ triplets and shit, I program some granular-sounding snare rolls and let the tracker do the work. I use Renoise (poorly) and about 1% of what Ableton Suite is capable of. Nothing in the suite sounds quite dirty enough to my ears so I have to fuzz and grunge it up by various means... I hate presets only slightly more than making my own sounds, and hate the process of putting down ideas more than all of the above. Hence I have ridiculously little output despite being a musician for 7+ years.
But I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE music, I obsess over it and would die over it. Hence why I'm here. So in closing, wienershnitzel.
