alright so i found this forum quite by accident all cause of looking for info on the ladyscraper deathchant EP

so i figured why not sign up and check out the samples and what people say on here

i mean what much is there to say about this music...its totally mental, either it rips your head off and shits down your neck or its just noisy rubbish

hence my immediate liking of the site name

ok who really knows or cares what breakcore "is" or "isn't"...i hope there aren't too many genre police here, all i know is i like crazy fucked up shit, fast, distorted, changing, grooving, whatever

so here is the inevitable list of artists i like who i think make sense to mention on this board

ENDUSER, DURAN DURAN DURAN, KID606, LADYSCRAPER, VENETIAN SNARES, HELLFISH, PRODUCER, EBOLA, VYTEAR, LANCE BLISTERS, PANACEA, VEX'D, NOISIA, GRIDLOK and yeah even APHEX TWIN if he'd get off his arse and do something again (and dont tell me about THE TUSS i dont care if its him or not...i still dont like it)

i mean if ppl think electronic music is too serious then in a way this is the antidote but i'd like it to slam too

and its not like its really that funny or brilliant, whoever it is...i think it only gets any notice cause its on rephlex and the rumor is its RDJ

best thing about it actually is on myspace anyway the label is listed as herplex records...pretty fucked up and funny in itself, (tho not as good as the labelname "violent turd")

Pink + Green is indeed a masterpiece..

I prefer Husikam Rave Dojo, on the same album.

I do love pink & green myself. My favorite tracks on the ep are Husikám Rave Dojo & Sporto Fucking Sellout Cocksuckerface. However i don't think it was one of his better albums.

The Tuss is fuckin magical though. I really like it.

i saw him in toronto with drop the lime and to be honest drop the lime rocked the fucking shit, whereas kid606 bored the crap outta me.

don't get me wrong, i dig (dug) kid606 until i saw him live. now not so much.

don't get me wrong, i dig (dug) kid606 until i saw him live. now not so much.

we mightve seen the same tour then...the kid606/drop the lime/eats tapes show was the one i thought was just "eh". i talked to him after and he said the show was thrown together last minute, his tour booker just went "oh you're booked here and here cause these places will pay you X$, you leave tomorrow have a good trip!".

the one of just him alone with tommie sunshine spinning before (i think, its all a blur) was THE SHIT. that was supposed to be his "ACID set". didnt sound like acid and i was kinda disappointed with "pretty girls make raves" but the show was kickass

since then though it seems hes gone all soft - "resilience" was all mellow and nostalgic and i havent kept up with if he's even done anything lately. i think he's just not so hyper anymore maybe and the music shows it. to me the apex was "kill sound" album
