Hardcore!
So, um, I'm listening to Scott Brown - Livewired, and I pretty much fucking love it. About 45 minutes through it, still half an hour left.
Thing is, I know absolutely nothing about the genre, but I would like some more. Preferably shit as high-energy as this is, or higher.
So, recommend me some artists. Nao plz!

Ewww! That music is like your avatar. I admit that it is perfectly good when you are off your nut and need something to dance to but then a lot of other bollocks is and everyone needs their guilty pleasures. I, for example, listen to bassline garage. Check out the Bonkers compilations for more hardcore. It's the biggest set of hardcore compilations and there's tons of them at dirt cheap prices. His record label Evolution Records might have some free stuff on it: http://www.evolutionrecords.co.uk/
Just checked the website and noticed he did a track with Neophyte. And according to wikipedia, his style is also known as bouncy techno. I really need to go to bed now, the Evolution Records website has been playing me hardcore without me noticing for a bit too long and I think it's now ingrained in my brain somehow.

Scott Brown has worked with Neophyte a lot. They've got several collaboration tracks such as Numb Flesh and Self destruction, which are great, they've also done countless mixes together, including disc 3 of Bonkers 15 (Legends of the core) and three Hardcore compilations on Rumour records, the third of which is fucking sensational.
If you like happy hardcore then buy Bonkers and any other Hardcore compilations you find in your local HMV. If you like the real hardcore (I.e not soft as shite girl's music with terrible vocals courtesy of MC Sharkey) then check out the Dutch compilations, which are much harder to find in the UK shops, but that's what Soulseek is for.
Neophyte, Evil Activities, Tha Playah, Partyraiser, Tommyknocker, Paul Elstak............................ Loads of good stuff.
Check this youtube video out:

but..in my oppinion..thunderdome became shit after 9,10...
still one or two good tracks on it but..the majority was boring,
lame dutchcore noone would listen to...
12 was a good though..but after this everything starts sounding
the same...and i went over to terrordrome..untill basicly the same
happens there...today mainstream hardcore just dont gets me..
its to trancy-dancy...no surprises anymore

Oh yeah, don't get me wrong, I don't mind the dutch hardcore/gabber stuff, especially the older tunes, though to be honest it's still pretty dull. But I don't think that's what was asked for. As far as I could tell from looking at Scott Brown's Livewired on youtube, the music in question is more UK hardcore/hardstyle http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6W8VPER3fkQ

I would call Livewired Happy Hardcore, I guess...
This, however: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ca0kbqqgwQg would be one of his gabber mixes, mirite? Not looking for that style so much right now. I want hyper-gay, super-fun, danceable music in the same vein as Livewired.
I will say I'm not much into the female vocals on a couple of the tracks. Too gay, haha. But, everything else is fair game. I'm talking Elysium ftw. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jvLqDcTnhWA That synth line has been in my head for days!

Yeah, thanks for the input. Not what I'm asking for though.
I want the shit you think sucks so bad. And, given, this probably isn't the best place to ask for it, but some of the comments have actually been pretty helpful.
Now, I did listen to some of Riff Glitchard's stuff, and I like it. BUT, it's not what I'm asking for right now.
