I know that you could probably use ADOBE PREMIERE to edit video and maybe add music, but i haven't used that in a long time. I use Adobe After Effects for motion graphics, but it can also be used to edit video and add music, although those things are usually best done in Final Cut Pro which is OSX only...
you should be able to find premiere on any torrent tracker site, if you look hard enough...
also you gotta make sure you know what formats of video your dealing with...
if your taking something from your phone and want to edit it in a video editing program, the program might not import the footage that is on your phone, unless it's some sort of supported format like .mov, .avi, .gif, etc...

no, you can't edit the video in live...
the only thing that live lets you do is play quicktime formatted video, so you can score music to a video that has been previously edited [in some other program, like final cut, premiere, after effects, etc.], so as to be able to snyc the music with what ever is happening in the video...
i've actually been doing this a bit recently, as i've been working on some short films for people and made their whole soundtrack from scratch, including some sound design and foley effects...

Thanks guys.
I've managed to convert my video on my phone so it is compatible with Adobe. I think i'm goin to use After Effects as it has been highly recommended plus it something i can use in future.
