i found this a few months ago via FUCT...i was surprised with the Release the Beast and Cola Bottle Baby, i thought that they had written most of that stuff.
(from the palmsout.blogspot)
This is my favorite edition of Sample Wednesday so far. I think most of you will be as shocked as I was to hear some of these tracks. I couldn't have put this together without inspiration from the girl Elizabeth- she put it well: as you hear these tracks you'll either decide Daft Punk isn't as genius as you thought they were or that they're twice as amazing. I just know that for any Daft Punk fan out there- these tracks are essential. In other words, don't skip this one.

Definitely worth checking these tracks out. I got this from demonoid and I'm still not sure which way I'm swinging...
.
oh yeah, i have always liked them.
i felt a little pissed when i found out that most of that stuff listed up there was sampled. simply because they didnt list it in the liner notes.
this video is killer if you have not seen it;
http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid ... 00832791&q
^^^before the helmets!
and their movie ELECTROMA is one of the dullest movies i have ever seen, no daft punk music in the movie?! and its not even them in the suits.
right now i like the new album from justice a lot...if you have not heard it, its a very daft sounding album.

i just saw Revolting Cocks and Ministry a few months ago, it was the 4th time i have seen them...and al is getting old, but damn if they did not rock it as hard as they did 20 years ago.
i hear that THE LAST SUCKER will be Ministrys last 'studio' album or the last album completely...good news is the album is really good!

I'm a big Frontline Assembly fan for my industrial music. Bill Lieb and Rhys Fulber just blow me away with what they can do. I'm also a huge orbital fan. As for other people I'm into, Jay Dilla, Richard Devine, Prefuse 73, Clark.. aka Chris Clark, Funkstorung (RIP), Plaid.
I could probably list tons more, but thats just off the top of my head at the moment.
