I belive the conection can be between the Futirist aproach to music, the exaltation of speed, and the inovative thought that rose up, concidering noises as music.
Politically wise...well !
I know that many Futurist artist was involved in Anarchist movement, and others was invoved in different type of shit (see Fascism) I consider Futurism from an Anarchist point of view, and i think that seen in that way, it was a revolutionary movement that beought some new air into the society...as well as i think Breakcore is!

didn't futurism collapse when the year 2000 came and we still didn't have a flying car? the exaltation of speed is mainstream and is now becoming a daily expectation. should we call this presentism?

on the subject of futurist music, anyone else here ever listen to SAT Stoicizmo? discovered their "Mah 2" album on a blog a while back and it's really insane.

Oh haha, i was talking about futurism and dadaism and other avantgarde bullshit (ok, no bullshit, i like it very much). When i was talking about art of noise, i said, that breakcore can be art's today equivalent. My examiner said, i'm totally right;) Also he was currious what i know about breakcore ;) Oh, and hahax2- he was 60 years old and he liked breakcore;)

There was def some futurist musicians making noise tunes but i'd say dada is far closer to breakcore, think about the use of collage to mock, visual sampling anyone? Politically futurists sound like retarded 10 year old boys.

I don't see a relation. I mean both of them are certainly chaotic but they don't move in the same direction.
