Kinda hard to do when it's already been mixed down into a single stereo track, unless they have a unique location in the stereo field (for example if they're panned center, you could maybe isolate them using some stereo imaging program, then create another track from the isolated vocal image...) but most likely you'll just make a mess.... besides, this will be impossible if the whole band was recorded onto a single track in the first place... and if it wasn't, why don't you just go back to the source tracks and turn up the volume there, then render it into a new mp3?

I found something today, looks very interesting and i'm gonna try it later today.

I have the program i use it to rip songs now, i will try to get the vocals out some peace now.

Looks interesting he?

Edit: can't really get it to work, will have a go at it later :?

human vocals are centered around 640 hz. if you use a notch eq around that frequency you can bring them up a little. you'll also raise the harmonics on a bunch of other stuff in the track. so it could turn out to be a mess.

You can also remove the music (by using the instrumental version and cancelling them up), then load the vocal only + instrumental into the multitrack.
