Anybody down with tapes? I'm putting out two splits on tape soon and two bands I'm in have released on tape. So what are your thoughts on tapes? Have you released on tape? How do you feel about breakcore tape trades?

I love tapes, Its only dificult to mix them in a set. So most of the time Im diging for 7ns.

I dig it. I have a bit of noise/gabber tapes. dups. lost a couple mark n copies my holmes elektroholic made me, but I still have a few. tapes are the shit. we used to record mixes all the time. first thing I bought with my 1st paycheck from my 1st job was an omar santana mixtape.

cassettes are forever a cd is more delicate some years if you are good at it it scratches the surface and yo loose precious information...like someone said "try to smash it in to the wall both and you will see what Im talking about"

I used to have this oooollllld 5lower shop tape from Anuerism and I really loved it but my ex g/f who was a promoter at the time took it from me and blahblahblah bitter breakup.... I never seen it again.

Tapes are the shit.. I still bump the Nazenbluten, Netas, Mark N mixes. How else would I?? I guess convert to CD but fuck that..I aint got time.. Bloody Fist bitch!

i love cassette tapes. i remember i had a little chinese one deck cassette player with 6 AA batteries. i used to remove the front panel, put the tape on pause and made scratches with a toothpick in the "teeth" of the cassette. i still have some sounds recorded from back then :lol:

It's not out for another month but because I don't have paypal it's a sort of mail order thing through my myspace :roll:
