FUCK J CARDS!

Postby MarkyPoo » Sat Dec 26, 2009 9:47 pm

So I drive to staples in this terrible weather hoping to get some j cards for tapes printed today.
I have the copy in the proper dimensions according to national audio and I think "fuck it, I'll save a few bucks and do them on card shit at staples"
I then repeatedly tell who, at the time, appeared to be an experienced employee to make them at exact dimensions.
He prints them and I'm off.
40 bucks spent.
I get home ready to cut them and put them in the cases.
AND THEY ARE ONE HALF INCH TOO BIG!
GOD DAMNIT!
I've used copiers before and it's not fucking rocket science.
It's almost 2010 and you can't figure out a fucking computer AND YOU WORK AT STAPLES!

I've double checked my measurements and it was in fact the copy mans fault.
That dumb fuck.

calm down, take them back and ask if they can give you some kind of discount for your inconvenience, tell them "what if i had a flight i had to attend and i missed it because of your employee's mistake, i would have been out 1,000 for the plane ticket" just nag, the costumer is still always right

just tell them you feel like you should be compensated for it.

i think you should cuz from the likes of it it sounds like you want to cry

I always cry.
This was posted after having gone back and asked for both a refund (refused) or a reprint (also refused).
In Indiana the customer is right unless you have to work.

in this case you my want to write a letter stating what happened.

but you gotta say it nicely though

"To Whom this may Concern, i was very inconvenienced by one of your employee's aberration to provide me the proper product i needed when i had given that employee the specific details as to what i need for my printer.

"tell them how you where inconvenienced here"

[Blah blah blah, blah blah blah]

I Like your Company and i do still intend on shopping there for my office supply needs, but i feel i should be compensated some how for the money and time that has been lavished."

send yer details and the receipt and possibly the product itself to

Staples Headquarters: 500 Staples Dr.
Framingham, MA 01702
508 253-5000

and you just might possibly get more than what you ask for.

companies love feed back, and most of the time are more than willing to make the customer happy.

but if not. . . then i guess it's your loss

Staples are notoriously shit the world over. I was in the staples in Manchester a couple of months ago looking for some gear and the staff seem to be exclusively handpicked for their LACK of knowledge pertaining to computer hardware and accessories. We have Maplins over here fortunately which is cheaper and more helpful on the whole, Staples is infested with tards though.

But yeah, if you've got a receipt still then they should surely offer you some kind of refund for an inadequate service, seeing as you made the dimensions clear and the balls up was purely on their behalf!

I don't know why I didn't use kinkos
I always use kinkos for flyers and inserts but this time it was staples.
Oh well went to kinkos and the tapes are back on track!
