I Hate Breakcore

so i read all this 'breakcore has just turned into a bunch of amens and samples' and 'this isn't proper breakcore' on here

so what is breakcore?

like if you hear some breakcore, why is it breakcore?

I think Drop The Lime once said that breakcore is like a bunch of different stuff that is connected mostly by aesthetics rather than musical styles. Really though, it pretty much is fast breaks and samples; there's no way around that, though I'm sure aesthetics come into the equation at some point.

For me it's more a style then a genre of music
like i sometimes dj at parties and for me i throw dnb, hardcore, dubstep, metal in the mix just in a breakcore way. Fast, glitchy, distorted, heavy.
