Is V-snares stil king of breakcore? Or have gromov (just discovert this dude on toolbox, shame on me) and ruby my dear surpast him?

I met Gromov before a party in Berlin in 2006, Venetian Snares was also playing.

Gromov played last after snares and still had party rocking.

Great producer.

i personally prefer the more hectik gabber oriantated breakcore but if your after glitchy idm-ish breakcore then these 2 guys^^^ kill it gromov and RMD are amazing to sould check out all his old dr. colibri shit its pretty amazing

I just listent to Allergy Records 03, I think it beats a lot of Snares stuff... also..... the dreaming tree was a amazing.

i got venetian snares' latest EP (my so called life) the other week and it literally made me think "holy shit, he is still the fucking master".

songs like "welfare wednesday"...no one else can do it as good as him. he takes the old jungle formula and completely turns it on his head.

i'm not one of these people that totally worships him like others do but IMO he is a total badass

I think that Snares is not the king but the master of breakcore. Lot's of his student have overpassed the master but he is still one of the most famous, old and creative producer on earth.

Venetian Snares is great, and produces loads of original tracks, but he is not the master of breakcore.

Who'd want to be the master of breakcore anyway? It's like being the master of coprophilia and incest.
