I've never heard of Rac or NSBM before. I'll have to look those genres up.

Those are both political-based music genre's. RAC means: Rock Against Communism, with lyrical themes as nationalism etc. NSBM meens: National Socialistic Black Metal, which speaks for itself. But for the same mather the lyrical theme could be farts, I don't understand the vocals in black metal whatsoever :lol:

I really like death metal and sludge. Progressive rythmical bands like Gojira,, Meshuggah are cool aswell. Dbeat hardcore is cool aswell. Just like most extreme music i can move to, fast and strong or slow and heavy that's what i'm talking about

agree with theblade, once you sort of take a step away from metal and look back at it you realise how silly it is and how seriously it takes itself. I was really into death metal, then out of pure chance ended up getting into ragga jungle and drum & bass, from there it didn't take long until I found breakcore.

I can still listen to death metal every now and then. my favourite bands like morbid angel and akercocke I still love. I prefer the more grindcore - type stuff these days as it doesn't seem to take itself as seriously as death metal

I could give a shit less about how serious someone takes themselves in a genre. Like black metal fans dress in "grim" face paint. And grindcore bands cover themselves with blood and wear scrubs. As long as the music is good, I could care less.
