sequencer which can automate vst bypass?

Hi,
Logic 5.5 is getting a bit old now, but I keep on using it, due to its ability to automate the bypass of VST effects, something integral to my method of composition (viz.
http://ihatebreakcore.com/modules.php?n ... ck&tid=797 ) . I really want a change, but of all the seqencers I've tried (bar renoise, and I just suck at that) none of them feature an automatable vst bypass like in logic. Does anyone know of a sequencer or host (like vsthost) which does?

cubase, fl studio 
i second fez though, i started with FL studio, but hes gotten me into cubase, and it is well better (all just an opinion though!)
