ok, so im kinda new to the whole production game, and was wondering what are some good quality, easy to use, basic VSTs i can use with ableton 7?or sites i can visit dealing with VSTs froma beginners perspective?

Ableton itself has instruments and efx that sound really good.they are optimized for ableton and use less CPU.
There are 3 versions of Shortcircuit sampler-now FREE here:[http://www.vemberaudio.se/shortcircuit.php].One of the best samplers for creative use.
