But you right, dblue Glitch is the easy way out.
It has his sound,recognicible,
if we all used this tool we would make the same music.

I agree, DBlue Glitch, is an easy way out. I like the sound of the ring modulator on it. But In my opinion it is FAR easier (and satisfying) to layer effects individually.

Your right, though, You really can tell when a track uses Glitch.

No arguing that it isnt a good tool to have though.

hmm... i dont think he was insulting me.. rather the glitch...

I only tend to use that glitch for the overdrive and the filter is pretty sweet
sometimes use the retrigger as u can automate he speed mid trigger

but fuck... complain away haha its free

Its a really great VST to use live. especially if you are mixing your stuff with ableton. makes it that much more exciting. (less headache too)

I love this thing, but I must say it is much more satisfying to glitch things your own way. this plug in can only take you so far and then you need to just throw down and chop some samples.

Occationally I run a dry break through it. Then I sample some of the glitches and hits, and then sequence them out in a more ordered fashion. Although I honestly find it much more satisfying to make weird glitches, and hits using cool edit.

i been using a samplers and an arpeggiator on a hardware sequencer to do the retrigger style stuff for years, either that or chopping samples manually and programming everything in a sequencer.
glitch is way easier and i am sure as hell going to use it for the retrigger unless i find something better or easier.
i dont understand the if-its-easy-its-a-cop-out attitude. my goal making music is generally to put my ideas into audio form, not to put in a bunch of work transferring files and making programs and multis on the sampler and then getting the record levels all set up and running back into a computer.
if i can do it all in the computer, and do it really fast, why not?
making music ought to be about the quality of your compositions, not how hard was it to make.
