"Easy" vst to create Hoover-Hardcore-sound ?

Postby seewen » Mon May 18, 2009 1:10 pm

Do someone know an "easy" vst to create some acid-hardcore typical sounds ?

i.e: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yAt-rsNorHc (1min33 ->)
or
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R97SzrYxgrA (1min28 ->)

I'm not interested by the samples. Only by a "tutorial/guide/how-to" or a vst to create thoses sounds.
(I'm a complete beginner, and I use FruityLoops).

You're confused by the term 'acid'. The sounds in the videos you linked to aren't called acid lines, they're called 'hoovers' typically from a Juno. There is no VST that emulates the Juno hoover sound very well. So either download a sample pack or buy a Roland Alpha Juno-2 synthesizer off ebay.

erf :oops: That's shy I didn't hear what I was especting from "acid samples" :?

Now that I know the name of what I'm looking for... it may be easier to find how to do that.

Thanks for the tip about the juno. but hardware synth is not possible for me. I can only transport my laptop ^^
