A search for some effects. Sure some feel the same.

So I have been looking for this effect for sometime now. You know that 80's robot voice like in the song Intergalactic by the Beasty Boys. I was informed it was a vocoder but I never got anything close to that.

Also I am now officially addicted to dbGlitch. Yes it does make good glitch effects but I am looking for these effects in individual vsts, especially the Delay effect. It says delay but the sound is nothing like a triditional delay. It's more like metalic modulation harmonics or at least the way I set it. I am also very interested in the re-trigger effect. This has an excellent studdering sound that is just impossible to find.

Let me know what you got so I'm not so dependant on this damn Glitch.

That is a vocoder effect you just gotta get a good hardware/software vocoder and play around till you find the sound you like.

I was using native instruments vokator and its one of the best software ones I've ever used. It has so many effects, settings and presets that you could spend forever tweeking sound.

if you take a regular delay and only delay by milliseconds you get the exact effect that the dblue glitch delay is.

as for that "robot voice" thing, that's got some flange and/or ring modulator on it as well.
