Korg ESX1 Vs. Korg EMX1 for breaks

Postby milt » Wed Apr 28, 2010 8:56 pm

I scoured searching for any topics on this and didn't see anything directly pitting these two against each other. The ESX1 seems like a poor man's Machinedrum UW SPSMKII but I've seen more videos/gab about the EMX1 for breaks.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

The ESX is a sampler and the EMX you cannot load samples onto so you can only use the drums that are on the EMX.

I should have added that to the post but yeah, I'm well aware of that.

Beyond that how do they compare? I'm just surprised there's less buzz/videos on the esx1 than there is on the emx1 if that's the only difference. I'd figure the opposite would be the case.

Sorry for my English))) If you do not know which of the devices is better to buy something I'll certainly advise ESX as a sampler, except that it can load different samples, they can still be processed and, while getting great sounds and work with your favorite loops. In fact, it is best to buy two devices because they are perfectly complementary to the work.
