people worry too much about what is what. fuck definitions, make music!
or something that does 'nt resemble that in our opinion. definitions are a linguistic matter. the world does 'nt change because you call something by a different name.
btw when was the last time speedranch released anything? the noise he made was like venetian snares making noise and him screaming into his computer. i want more cool stuff! i saw this tzetamet track on his myspace. i really liked that one.
current value rules! so does dj hidden and anichristus!

Go listen to merzbow.
Anyway, it was a joke, lighten up
Eh, you could of at least suggested something a little less mainstream?
I think the term you were searching for was "Entry-Level", rather than mainstream. Everyone who knows what Noise is, knows Merzbow. Anyone else wouldn't.
german grindcore? how is grindcore like breakcore?
Early Grindcore had lots of speed drumming. Grindcore as a rule has tons of distortion and often incorporates noise and morbid themes. Plus some Tech-Grind bands might end up sounding like Breakcore because of the electronic beats but probably more like Speedcore (ugh).
So i think the vague similarities would be mostly in speed and attitude. But I confess I dont know much about GERMAN grindcore.
Re: Does german grindcore count as breakcore?
I pretty sure nobody should count noise as breakcore.
If you would use one breakbeat in it perhaps it is. But there should be a little trace of breakbeat in a song.
