Anyone heard of this guy? His music is very strange, spoken word and glitch breakbeat. He's got a britney spears mix that dosent sound like anything. I dont what to think, check him out..

Yeah he's a clever guy. One of the first breakcore artists I ever listened to, but that was his more glitch stuff from when he was just known as Exile. The Gabbaret Lounge Radio Show available for free on his website is one of my all time favourite mixes. Saw him live at Glade last year and it was pretty good, not amazing but I hear he's had better gigs. Very impressive that it's all done live and I am in awe of his set up, especially his intimate knowledge of Reaktor. Here's him showing how he does it for Native Instruments: http://www.native-instruments.com/index ... imexile_us

Saw him playin live with that thing. Joystick worn as a strapon, linked to a voice modulator or some shit. Screaming obscenities over tearing gabba. Probably the wrongest thing i've ever seen.

Tim Exile is one of my all time favourite artists.
I started out playing with his 'keymasher micro' he released, and ended up falling in love with reaktor, sound design/dsp programming, and making music in general.

http://timexile.com/pre/stuff/ you can download a set of his he did in bratislava which is pretty good imo and the keymasher micro (heavily cut down, obfuscated version of his live patch. needs reaktor 5) from here.

I spoke to him at the planet mu 200 party in may and he said his new album should be out at end of the year/early 2009.

The singing stuff caught me off guard too. Kinda like he's going the Jamie Liddell route.
