.

use weird time signatures

find a metal or top 40 track you like and cut the thing all to fuck using a wave editor then throw it all in to a tracker

listen to tons of classical music!

record and loop any sound that you cannot stand

keep all yr tracks under 3:40, as the bpms go up the song should get shorter

just do what you like and what you thing sounds right and then post it for feedback

Check the studio part of this forum, especially the software part as people have asked similar questions before. I've only just started learning how to do things myself but these forums are definitely a big help. I'm learning how to use Renoise and it seems a good place to start, mainly because the demo is free and is more or less the full version so at least you aren't spending loads of your money as well as your time.

Producing breakcore is different for each artist.

you have no idea (about how much of a challenge)

make sure you at least use reason 4... the sequencer is much much better suited for breakcore
