Breaks Matching BPM?

Postby Mleooo » Mon Aug 15, 2011 5:03 am

So i'm currently using fl studio 8 and i've been trying to find an easy way to get my break which are about 100-178 bpm to match my 200 bpm song. Anyone have any suggestions on this? :)

Yes, get your break, have it be a perfect loop, i.e. exactly 4 - 8 - 16 bars.
then, import it into the playlist screen, and stretch it so it matches your song, by dragging the end of it so that the loop ends exactly on the 4th, 8th or 16th bar. It's kinda hard to explain without screenshots, but I hope you get what I mean. If you don't I may upload pics if I have the time.

Or of course, you can use the FL slicer, then just quantise each hit so that it's in time, but that might not sound as good.
just memes and donks these days
