NI Battery users ?
I'm thinking of getting Battery- is it any good ?

I quite enjoy it.
There's a demo out there. You can't save kits, but you can get a feel for it.
It'll do just about everything you need a drum unit to do, including multi-channel export.

not to go OT but if you already have kontakt(i only got version 2 right now)would it make sense to get battery too?

I have both.
Bought each of them at different times.
Download the DEMO and see if it works for you.
Battery is designed to be an all in one drum solution.
Kontakt is a bit of a jack of all trades.

For drums, get battery, it simply rules.
Cracked versions aren't very stable sometimes, so save a lot, or buy the original.
Smashing drum software, nice internal effects, and take the time to find the function which routes every sample to a independent track, so you can mix all drums in seperate tracks.
