not sure if this should go here or in the request forums but im looking for some kinda black metal grindcore drum samples anyone know where i can d/l some good sample packs

Morbid Angel - Drum check is a great source of blast beats
also you can easily make them yourself ofcourse

yeah ive been trying to make them myself and i can get the drum patterns right and have it sounding like a blastbeat but just cant get the drums sounding the way i want them to

any suggestions??

Well, depends on what style you are going for? Generally it might be good to use Cymbals/hats/rides that have fairly long sound, which propably means using several samples with slightly different attacks and sustains, added with some reverb. Same goes for kicks and snares.

Even though many drummers are very precise and almost all use triggers you might want to use velocity to create accents which should make the beat sound more living.

Try looking up Derek Roddy, Flo Mounier, George Kollias or John Longstreth on youtube, might give some insight on what I was trying to say.

yeah, use the right samples, or sample from well produced grindcore and shit.
