I Hate Breakcore

Hi Rob G signing in for the first time...

I'm 40 years old (honest!) and have been mixing it up since Chicago house hit in '86. always on the lookout for something new to replace the mediocre crap which seems to eventually permeate through any decent genre of dance music.

Still loving the underground oldskool hardcore circa '91....

Current sets include funky electro house & breaks (on the underground tip of course :wink:

)

I have finally ditched the trusty Technics 1210 MKII, although I keep one to transfer all my vinyl to PC/CD.
Currently I have:
Pioneer DJM800
Pioneer CDJ1000MK3 x2

which I mostly use at gigs..

Also run a T43 Thinkpad and Maya44 USB soundcard, using Virtual DJ 5.

When I edit/remix tracks I use Adobe Audition 2.

At present, I can't fault the setup, although I@m sure someone will tell me how to improve it.

Hello. Found this site through EGR on the Renoise forum.

Generally don't like having to register to download but having to post and wait as well... grrrr!!

Not as bad as HydrogenAudio which really pissed me off with having to wait 10 days after registering to be able to post. Now what's the point in that?! :twisted:
