i saw him in toronto with drop the lime and to be honest drop the lime rocked the fucking shit, whereas kid606 bored the crap outta me.

don't get me wrong, i dig (dug) kid606 until i saw him live. now not so much.

we mightve seen the same tour then...the kid606/drop the lime/eats tapes show was the one i thought was just "eh". i talked to him after and he said the show was thrown together last minute, his tour booker just went "oh you're booked here and here cause these places will pay you X$, you leave tomorrow have a good trip!".

the one of just him alone with tommie sunshine spinning before (i think, its all a blur) was THE SHIT. that was supposed to be his "ACID set". didnt sound like acid and i was kinda disappointed with "pretty girls make raves" but the show was kickass

since then though it seems hes gone all soft - "resilience" was all mellow and nostalgic and i havent kept up with if he's even done anything lately. i think he's just not so hyper anymore maybe and the music shows it. to me the apex was "kill sound" album
