not sure how many of you have seen this, but...

there is a really good interview with Richard Devine up right now on:

he talks a lot about his modular gear [and there's tons of pics], being a sound designer, his career and how he got into "making music" when he was 13...

also has a gear list that would make any gear head cream their jeans...

yah Richie is the shit...

he tore up Barcore up last time we had him out here in NYC...

we recorded him [as well as everyone that night] and his set is fucking ridiculous...

i know i keep saying this, but i swear, those recordings [as well as a shit load of other Barcore recordings] are going to be poppin up soon, so keep your eyes peeled...

Nice I wanna hear them recordings. I seen Richard about 2 weeks or so ago at a lil rave here heh. He's playing an 8 bit festival here on July 5th. He's a real nice guy and I like talking with him about gear and stuff. I seen he just released a track vs jeswa for a benefit compilation for the elektron CEO and co-founder who died recently. We had him as a guest speaker at our monthly Ableton clinic here also. I think he mentioned that MN show. He said he played for 10+ minutes at 999 bpms and people went wild. Here is a pic of his live setup at that moment. I bout shit myself when he booted it up.
