guitar vst
Do anyone use it? I know Slayer and I'm thinking of buying Steinberg Virtual guitarist 2 but I would like to know if it's really a good tool for creating my own riffs. If you got any good software or samplepack of guitar I'm very interested.

seriously they all sound like crap... which is cool when you want it to sound fake and cheesy (ENerdz like shit) but when you want it to sound real. there is no substitute for a real six string.
I don't need a fucking signature... WolfMerrik.com

I'd suggest you do a colab with someone that knows how to play. Just hit people up in chatrooms and forums and ask for help.

FL SLAYER SUCKS
Only one I've used, so my opinion of guitar VSTs isn't great.
There are probably some really good sample libraries out there, but as for VSTs, I don't know of any either.

Yeah, like JohnMerrik said, it's one of those that are good for cheesy, fake sounding stuff - I even used it on one of my new tracks - but I would have preferred for it to sound more realistic.
yea pretty much every vst sucks.
i play it all myself, but when i cant record (like now), i just go through my
steve vai library and get all i need, so in other words, enough out there to sample,
and with melodyne you can make it into nearly anything you would on an actual guitar
alternatively, use guitar pro's RSE, overdo the dynamics, compress, add effects, and overdo the dynamics again
(or you can probably find a vst like lsd that can rip the sound engine to your sequencer)
