the only thing i miss,from renoises internal effects,is a good pitchshifter.

whats good out there??

ive got the renoise 2 beta 3,but theres no pitchshifter in it though :(

but it is a really really nice beta :D

You won't find much better than Melodyne if you're looking for a software pitchshifter.

true, melodyne is great, but also 700 bucks or so..

a nice free one is the braindoc one:

or try son of a pitch, it's used a lot
the rest i found on the web were just plain crappy

If you have any of the guitar amp modeling packages, they usually have a pitch shifter that can be controlled using MIDI cc.

If it's a lead sound, I'd actually recommend using either the Waves Stompbox shifter, or the Amplitube shifter... the algorithms are both designed for shifting synths or lead-guitar type sounds, without introducing chipmunk-effect artifacts.

I've been after one thats better than an ordinary standard for ages
