I'm not so sure where to find all of the samples of breaks in FL, so I'm just gonna have to dig around, I suppose. Unless it's right in my face and I'm not noticing. =P
But I will just mess around a bunch and see what I find.
when you find them, be sure to delete them all and download some better ones.
i would start with the dogsonacid "huge breaks pack" if it's still around

\((( "D )))/ Yay clouds! ☁ ☁ ☁ ☁ ☁
download a break of the internets.
open the break in wavetraveller
chop it up urself ya lazy bastad!
and oh look- you can reverse it and make slow down effects n shit. like stopping a record.
Directwave is even more intense but my tiny brain cant handle it. it lets you apply effects like time stretch, deley, reverb distortion, lfo's on individual slices, instead of the whole break. pretty snazzy.

There's also a part two in the related videos.
I always love sending links like this to people who always go on about what a shit program FL Studio is.
People have no idea what they're fucking talking about a lot of the time.
one of these days i think i'mma make a tutorial for fl, cause in that video, that i'd never watched before, i more or less knew all of it and more, the tut will be called "breakcore for retards" coming soon, and i wil have the forsight to include an fl7 file to explain betta.
oh yeah, that actually annoyed me quite a lot when he sliced that pattern up, i keep that shit goin, usually for the whole song. me no like repetition.

Hey.....stupid question about breaks....i'm new to Fl slicer, as I never had a need for it.....but since I'm not wanting to wait for my FPC to load up with my custom kits, is there a simple way to arrange a "break" file so that I can have a self contained kit all in one sliceable wave file?

Maybe, you can write the the samples, that you want in a beat and import it in a slicer and therefore the tutorial of audiotuts+ "make a drum and bass breakbeat in FL studio" can be handy.

yeah I used tp do that all the time, get like, 10 breaks or so, pick out all your favourite parts, slicing them in the playlist, arrange it all together in a break you like, preferrably for me with lots of different sounds, export as wav and then import into FL slicer, used to save me shitloads of time, but now I don't use the slicer, just slice EVERTHING by hand in the playlist
