Trance is alright by me. Not the greatest, but its tolerable. I much rather prefer heavy, pounding, superfast shit.
I fucking hate it because my 3 hippy fucks that i call friends stick some psytrance on while im rolling and then i flip out and put on hardstyle hardcore, or breakcore and they get all pissy, saying "you not unlocking the potentional of your mind...man" while all i can think is man i wish they would take a fucking shower

YES YES YES omnipresence is fucking sick, saw him play a few months ago, he played in between ladyscraper and the teknoist...so I guess thats a testament to his success in bridging that gap
because it all sounds the same. and i can listen to a full night minimal set without saying this. give me 20 minutes of "psy" and i'm gone.
ESPECIALLY the high-bpm "sick" psy-shite out there is so cheaply produced and sounds so thin it almost hurts my ears. and i don#t mean cheaply produced in a cool DIY/lo-fi way, it all sounds like crap made in 5 minutes on magix music maker or something like that.
oh, and automating the bpm randomly without any buildup or shit before it does not equal being "chaotic" or "surprising", it's just silly.
