To date i've had no material submitted to me at all, from anyone, anywhere. Actually one guy sent me a few album reviews he did, this alone is not enough to fill up even one issue of a zine. This project would require regular/semi-regular or even one-off freelance contributors, alas it seems after a fair bit of advertising I can't attract any interest at all.

how about a page where netlabels can advertise their free releases?
yes!
but on that note, what netlabels have free breakcore releases?
i only know a couple (restingbell, dustedwax) but i don't think i've ever seen anything breakcore on them
http://www.otherman-records.com/releases some breakcore, some other stuff. i like most of it so here i shall spam it.
also, how much is there really to breakcore? i feel like breakcore, its history, ideologies or whatever could all be summed up in one well-written like 'feature' article in a magazine.. i kinda doubt how much it could be stretched out into any sort of recurring zine itself. i mean correct me if im wrong, but i think there might be a better and broader name to unite the concepts breakcore addicts might be interested in.
like obviously technology/electronics plays a big part in breakcore.. but the whole abrasive 'counter-culture' feel distinguishes it from a lot of electronic music. its distribution and networking seem kinda unique in that its basically internet based. i mean i dont know many people who spread breakcore via word of mouth or actually own a physical copy of a breakcore album. dont know of any record stores nearby that sell breakcore albums for that matter. there've gotta be more unique things about breakcore, but i think the elements that drive it tie into things that could be applied to other genres and shit.
idk i think breakcore is spectacular and will find some way to contribute to this zine.. but id like it to see the light of day too! im down for brainstorming ways to get more people involved if anyone is still considering this.
Is anybody here who can write to this zine some DIY things? Like howto make a soundsystem etc.? It can be useful, i can translate something from my friends DIY site to this zine if you want. I can also translate some of my articles from czech to english about homophobic reggae, which, for me, is big problem - like many people are mixing homophobic ragga artists to their sets and they don´t know about it. etc. Yeah and sorry for my english.
