i myself personally dont like it....its reminds me of noise music but just "high quality noise" which i never really found entertaining...i mean i like to sample some noise stuff like really short clips to uses as a drum sound but really noise music is just an excuse to make a bunch of annoying distorted sounds mash em together and call it a song so they feel as if the accomplished something but in all actuallity its a peice of crap and the only thing anyone gets out of it is that the person who made it is now emotionally gratified becuase they have created "art" or what they think is art and anyone else who gets into it is just subconciously gettin wrapped up in the hype of the intelectual smoke screen of technical jarble......

you have to see La Peste live to really understand his music, i saw him do a 2 1/2 hour set in glasgow once, incredibly intense, kinda similar to Xanopticon live but more progressive and twisted.
for the record, La Peste is French and Atomhead/Undacova (its the same person) is Belgian as I remember. so its not a bunch of Scots doing this.
Justice Yeldham is using a belt of guitar pedals attached to a contact mic stuck on a piece of glass isnt he? last time i saw him he was also running it through Max/MSP. It's an interesting comparison although I would say La Peste has a much more synthetic sound while Justice has a more organic sound, or maybe acoustic. Merzbow as well i would have said was more layered and droning rather than many many little sounds bouncing off each other.
