It has by far surpassed the amount of activity on c8 (which isnt a big thing)
and I think the amound of 3 posters has gone down significantly...

Hell I found this place randomly about a month or more ago. I was goofing off on some weird visual search engine with trippy graphics. So I just put "breakcore" in and stumbled on in.

Heh I need to find that weird search engine again.

I'm guessing the three post thing is to get access to the downloads?

I'm not a typical (if there is such a thing) Breakcore lover. My main love is the standard 4/4 stuff, but I'm starting to get a better picture of what it's all about from this forum.

I ventured into the upstairs part of a club I visited tonight & spent a good portion of my night up there due to it being a room dedicated to Breakcore. It was a surprise, and a very pleasant one.

It seems the genre is definetly getting a lot more exposure now than I've seen before now and the music that I've heard of late has been slightly more appealling to me than some of the tracks I've heard in the past. To see it played live though, seems to me a lot better than most of the pre-recorded snippets I've caught. It seems more 'organic' and can show new directions that sometimes very well known sections of music could have went but didn't originally.

The idea of making someting new & following your own idea for one section or even a few sections of music is a concept that I am becoming a little partial to myself and with the development of new softwares & production techniques they allow the music itself to become 'elastic' enough to be able to cope with those new ideas and improvements.

I think I may be listening to a little more Breaks orientated music from now on......
