well I don't tend to gauge attractiveness ('hotness') based on appearance alone, cowboy.

Surely that comes later though, you don't know what someone is like until you go out of your way to talk to them, which some people probably have done based on appearance. It would depend on situation of course, as that would allow one to gain external data, such as if she's at a breakcore night then she might like breakcore. You can't apply that to everything, if she's in asda she's probably there getting supplies rather than because she likes knocking about in supermarkets.
