I Hate Breakcore

I just saw him a few nights ago, and was really really impressed. And kinda stunned to find he performs with 2 laptops, using fruity loops and a dj mixer. But it was damn good.

i've had the great fortune to see and perform with xano many times, and he truly is the best. his sets are improv, it isnt the typical 'mix one song into the next' thing. he sometimes uses two computers, or runs two of his particular application that i won't name from a dual-out soundcard. and then just plain thrashes the dj mixer.

he's really nice and genuine about everything. everyone should take a page from his book in regards to attitude.

I thought he was pretty dope... kinda weak at some points but that's what you get from a sound system in a shitty goth club.

saw and played along two times.
i totally agree with blaerg, ryan is a human octopus when performing.
he is one of the few actually makin a REAL liveset out of a laptop.
plus everyone knows that breakcore IS xano's screen

anyone got any links to live sets of his?

i can't believe with all the times i've played with him and seen him play live, that NO ONE EVER RECORDS his set?!?!

i have one set of his, but it's old and nothing like his latest stuff...

i also have a video of him live, but it's on VHS and it's gonna be a huge pain in the ass to get it digitized...

man, i wish someone had recorded everyones sets at the jag off uprising party in philly. all the music played that night was pretty out of control...

Seriously with such an incredible live act, an a HUGE fan base. Im really surprised I've never seen one. Ill give a look again tonight, and add it to the DL section if I find one.
